What are Wildwood kitchens made from?

Our mud kitchens are handcrafted from quality Australian hardwood, chosen for its strength, natural beauty and sustainability for its outdoor use. Each kitchen is built by hand and finished with care right here on the South Coast.

Are Wildwood kitchens safe for children?

Our kitchens are designed specifically for childrens outdoor play, with carefully selected materials we avoid unnecessary sharp edges and sand every surface smooth prior to applying oil.

What oil & paint finishes do you use?

For the hardwood finish we use a non-toxic sustainably sourced natural oil, made from all natural ingredients and safe for little hands to be playing with all day long.

For any painted items we use a low VOC exterior paint, with a primer underneath.

Can my mud kitchen stay outside?

Absolutely! that’s where they belong.

However - Like any timber outdoor furniture they last the longest and remain looking their best when protected from harsh weather and regularly maintained.

Are the sinks & taps new or recycled?

We love giving materials a second life here at Wildwood. Reclaimed sinks are used when available for sustainability and a custom one of a kind kitchen!

Every recycled component is checked and cleaned before being incorporated into a kitchen.

Do you deliver?

Absolutely! We offer free delivery to our local surrounds of the Wildwood workshop. Within 50kms of Nowra 2541.

Outside of this will be an additional fee based on your location.

Free local collection is also always welcome.

6 Does it come with the accessories shown in the photos?

Our kitchens are styled with a selection of accessories to show how they can be used and enjoyed.

Accessories shown in the lifestyle photos are not included unless specifically stated in the product description.

Can I see the kitchen before I purchase?

Absolutely! We understand that buying a handmade piece online is a big decision.

We attend local markets and pop up events where you can see and feel our kitchens in person.
